Modiano encounters situations not entirely clear. A murder committed sixteen years before, a sudden hospitalization in a mental hospital of the only eyewitness, the failure of a bank on the street that led almost all the inhabitants of the country.
and begins to investigate the good sergeant Modiano, not without succumbing to the lure of love, only to wonder whether it is true love.
